Beacon Blog

Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Beacon Frontier (“we”) for your use of the Beacon Blog app. By using the app, you agree to them. Apple’s standard terms for App Store apps also apply.

Your words are yours

You own what you record and everything the app writes from it. We don’t claim any rights to your recordings, transcripts or posts, and we never receive them.

Check your post before you publish it

Beacon Blog uses AI to turn your talk into a post. AI can make mistakes: it can misunderstand a word, leave something out, or say something you didn’t mean. The app highlights sentences it wants you to check, but it can’t catch everything. Read your post and fix anything that isn’t right before you publish or share it. You’re responsible for what you publish.

Acceptable use

Use Beacon Blog only in ways that are legal. Don’t use it to record people without the consent the law requires where you are, and don’t use it to create content that infringes someone else’s rights, harasses people, or breaks the law. Don’t try to reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the app.

The app is provided “as is”

We work hard to make Beacon Blog reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will be error-free, that it will always be available, or that every post will be accurate. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Beacon Frontier isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, content or profits, that come from using or not being able to use the app. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for it, if any. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. If we change the terms, we’ll update this page and the effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
