This page covers the Beacon Frontier studio site: the home page, pricing, the blog, Flow’s page, the Homepage Checker and the chat on the home and pricing pages. Beacon Frontier runs it. We don’t sell your data, and there are no ads or ad trackers on this site.
What we collect, and why
Visits
We count visits with our own analytics. They use no cookies and store nothing in your browser. Each page view sends the page address (without any query string except campaign tags), the page you came from, your browser’s language and the window width. To count visitors, our server mixes your IP address and browser type with a random value that changes every day and is deleted the next day, so a visit can’t be linked to you or to another day. We never store your IP address. We keep the country and region your connection comes from. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is sent at all. Raw visit records are deleted after 13 months; daily totals are kept.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure visits and page speed without cookies.
Homepage Checker
When you check a website, we read that site’s homepage, test its speed with Google PageSpeed Insights, and have an AI model score it. We keep the results, and a one-way scrambled form of your IP address to stop abuse. If you give us your email for the full results, we email them to you and keep your email so we can follow up.
The chat
Your chat questions go to Voyage AI, to find the right pages on our site, and to an AI model through the Vercel AI Gateway, to write the answer. We don’t save your questions or the answers in our database. The conversation is kept in your browser for the tab you’re using, so it follows you between pages, and it’s gone when you close the tab or choose New chat.
If you leave your email in the chat, we save it, your name if you gave one, the page you were on and the conversation, and we email them to ourselves so we can reply. We use your email only to reply to you.
Who handles it for us
- Vercel hosts the site, runs the AI Gateway and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights.
- Neon stores our database.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Voyage AI helps the chat find the right pages.
- The AI model behind the chat and the Homepage Checker runs at Anthropic or Google, reached through the Vercel AI Gateway.
- Firecrawl reads the homepage you ask the Homepage Checker to check, and Google PageSpeed Insights tests its speed.
How long we keep it
We keep the contact details you leave in the chat until you ask us to delete them.
